Once, a Bird at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2022

So exciting to see my new book– Once , a Bird at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2022. This wordless book imagined by me and illustrated by the much sought after illustrator – Nathalie Dion, is about a compassionate bird who is worried about the humans when they disappear and she finds the world empty. Actually that was the original title – Empty. But the brilliant marketing team at Orca suggested that I come up with a more positive title– and this came to me. And now I love it! The book was a lead title at the Orca booth and that explains the poster. That's quite an honour. I also see Grandmother School on the shelf – going strong!
